Italy resorts: Pragelyto

Pragelato (Pragelato) – a new ski complex, the venue of the Winter Olympic Games of 2006 – located at an altitude of 1534 meters above sea level. He lies in the heart of Piedmont, between the National Parks of Val Tronech and Orsira, not far from Sestriere and Via Lattea. The resort was created specifically as a database of competitions on jumping from a springboard and a snowboard, so all his infrastructure is focused on athletes, although for tourists here the conditions are simply excellent. In addition to 15 km of its tracks (mainly "blue" and "Red"), Pragelyto can offer guests almost all 440 km of the highway Via Lattea zone. Right on the territory of the resort there is a new lift, which in 8 minutes will deliver skiers to the center of the sister zone. For cross-country skiing, two zones of riding in the crossed terrain are built, one of which leads to the Val-Trone National Park, and the second, Olympic, envelopes the whole resort.
