Regions of Spain: Costa Brava
Costa Brava ("Wild coast") – the spa section of the coast of Catalonia, starting 40 km north of Barcelona and the provinces stretching throughout the coast. Soft climate, purest water, abundance of greenery, wind "Tramuntana" (Local transcription more familiar "TRAMMTAN") who makes the sky cloudless and light, magnificent landscapes, alternation of the rocky shores with small coves and beaches with small sand – all this makes these places one of the best seaside resorts of the country.
Playa de Aro is famous not only to the Golden Beach and Folk Holidays, but also known as a large commercial complex.
At the resort of Pineda de Map there is an international wellness center "Sports and sea".
Tossa de Mar is located in a cozy rocky bay surrounded by small beaches, rocks, grots and bays attracting thousands of tourists.
The tourist capital of the coast is Lloret de Mar (Lloret de Mar), drowning in greenery and its water park "Marineland".
Blanes – one of the oldest resorts on Costa Brava.
Other tourist centers of the region – Rosas, Calelia de Palafrugel, San Pedro-Pescador, San Martin de Ampuryas, La Escala, Estartit, Bagur, Palamos, Sagaro and San Feliu de Giczols. Most of them are large cities with excellent rest infrastructure and good service, but few different in their spirit from the beach centers of Turkey or Egypt.
