Salou Sightseeing: Manor La Masia Catalana

The Architectural Complex of the La Masia Catalana La Masia Catalana (La Masia Catalana) was created in 1974 as a thematic park – the monument of rural life and life of Catalan. Initially, it was planned to devote to the estate of Christmas traditions, arranged a large-scale analogue here "henbane" – Christmas decoration depicting the baby Jesus in Klelev with the Virgin, donkey, wrappers and so on.

Today in La Masia Catalana, visitors can see traditional utensils and get acquainted with the daily affairs of Catalonia rural. Going into many estate buildings, folded in the traditional way of covered stones, can be examined by genre expositions with inventory, vegetables and fruits from their own garden and real homework and bird. For children on site there is a playground.

After the last reconstruction on the territory, the market of craft products was opened, which works in the summer. About thirty benches are collected here, in which you can buy souvenirs, decorations, ceramics, handmade soap and candles made of natural materials. Especially bright and attractive Catalan estate becomes during Catholic Christmas: here is a fair with fun, treats and "Live paintings".
