Munich Memoir

We are very proud to announce the video trailer and live Facebook page for our upcoming  book release of “Munich Memoir: Dan Alon’s Untold Story of Survival” through Dapt’d.

Dan Alon is a surviving member of the 1972 Israeli Olympic team, and he watched in horror as 11 of his friends and teammates were killed at the Munich games by terrorist group Black September. You may remember these events, or you may have seen the films “Munich” or “One Day In September.” This book is Dani’s account and his 35 year search for understanding and peace.

On a personal note, it’s been an extraordinary experience (and continues to be) to touch history in an intimate way, and to find honest and meaningful ways to properly represent Dan’s story. He is so great to work with. It’s also wonderful to be able to launch this as Israel concludes Yom Ha’atzmaut (the Day of Independence) celebrations. Perfect timing.

I hope you will all check out the page, Like it, watch the trailer, and share with others. There will be more in the next few weeks as we lead up to the book launch.
